MSiteStatus (M Site Status) is an independent website availability monitoring service launched in 2024. It was created to help users quickly determine whether a website is down for everyone or only affected within their own connection.
The platform is designed to provide fast and simple checks without requiring registration or complex configuration.
The main goal of MSiteStatus is to give users a clear understanding of what is happening when a website is not responding. Instead of guessing, users can rely on actual response data to identify the issue.
The service is suitable for developers, website owners, system administrators, and everyday users who need a quick way to verify website availability.
It can be used for troubleshooting or basic accessibility checks.
Checks are executed on demand whenever a user submits a request. The system attempts to connect to the target website using multiple protocols and domain variations, including versions with and without “www”.
This helps detect cases where a website may respond differently depending on configuration. Each request is analyzed to determine response status and timing.
Since its launch, MSiteStatus has processed availability data for more than 3,638,000 websites. The platform collects important technical indicators such as HTTP response codes, response time, total number of checks, uptime statistics, downtime events, and error responses.
This allows users to evaluate both current availability and long-term reliability.
In addition to individual checks, the platform analyzes overall usage patterns. Every 24 hours, a global activity map is generated to show which regions are making the most availability check requests.
With the constant growth of the internet, organizing large volumes of domain data becomes increasingly important. This project is part of a broader system where websites are grouped alphabetically, making navigation easier and improving scalability.
